A group of 7 young people & 3 leaders from the 10th Enfield embarked on a life changing experience to build a house for a family in need in Mexico. We joined 3 others BB groups on the trip, to complete the build team. We set out to travel to the LA in the USA, starting with a small bit of sighting before heading down to Mexico the next day to settle into the campsite, before starting the build the following day.
Wow what a week… It’s been an incredible 6 days on our BB Build in Mexico 🛖 🇲🇽 and the most special moment was when we handed over the keys to a family’s new home.
After 5 days of hard work, teamwork, laughter, and plenty of sweat, seeing the joy and emotion on the family’s faces reminded us exactly why we’re here. Not just a new house for Elias and his family, but a home built with hope, faith and love ✝️♥️
We handed over the keys to the house along with some gifts, and wished the family every blessing for the future 🙏

This isn’t just the end of a build—it’s the beginning of a new chapter for one family. And a life changing experience for all of us that have been on the trip!
On Monday after crossing the border from Mexico 🇲🇽 back into the USA 🇺🇸 we headed into San Diego… spending time at Ocean Bay🌊 on the beach 🏖️ 😎 and enjoying a swim in the Pacific 🩳
We had a bite to eat before heading over to Old Town San Diego for a quick look around, before our Greyhound bus took us back up to Los Angeles, for the last couple of days of our trip 👍
We’ve had a great day at Universal Hollywood 😎🎢
During the day we went on lots of rides and attractions including Jurassic World, Transformers The Ride, Simpsons, Mummy The Ride, Harry Potter, Universal Studio Tour and watching Water World The Show 👍
After leaving the park we headed to Hard Rock Cafe for some food before heading back to the hotel for some much needed rest 💤
On our last day in LA we had a 🚌 tour around Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Venice Beach and more 😎
A fantastic end to our 10 day trip to Mexico and USA 🇲🇽 🇺🇸 and we’ll shortly be off to the airport to catch our flight home ✈️
